Everything in this car works as it did when it left the factory in Germany It is a convertible with a retractable hardtop that folds neatly in to the trunk. This car has been very well cared for and professionally maintained. It has Never been in an accident, it has a clean “CarFax” history, and a clean title. The car has only been driven 74,478 miles and it has never been raced on the track. This Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is the finest sports car my wife and I have ever owned. The only reason that we are selling it is because we rarely get a chance to drive it. The car sits in the garage with a car cover on it, and it should be driven by someone who can appreciate it. The AMG SL63 has a hand built Aluminum 6.2-liter naturally aspirated DOHC 32-valve, fuel injected V8 motor. This incredible motor puts out 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The 7-speed automatic transmission has 4-modes (Comfort, Sport, Sport +, and Manual). In Manual Mode you can shift using the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Using the “Race Start” feature this car will accelerate from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and do the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds. It is estimated that this car is capable of reaching 200 MPH. However Mercedes-Benz limits the cars top speed to 155 mph with an electronic governor. The stability control has 3 settings (On, Sport, and Off) The body color is Storm Red Metallic with beige leather interior. Jay Leno was very impressed with the cars performance.
