I am the 2nd owner and purchased the car back in 2014 with 60k miles from McDonald VW. In my opinion, this car has one of the most reliable powertrains VW has ever built (2.5 5 cyl with 5 spd manual). It is truly bulletproof and has never had any major issues. The engine modifications make the car a bit more exciting to drive (it's not a racecar, but you're certainly going to be faster than your buddy's Forester). No accidents, clean title. Car drives great, shifts great, runs great, has good tires and will cruise down the highway at 75 with no issues. I've adjusted the price of the car to account for the pendulum bushings (this just started to happen in the past few weeks and I don't have time to change them. It's a $30 part). Work completed in the past 8 months: New clutch, flywheel & throwout bearing (professionally installed, have receipts) New rear shocks (Bilstein) and springs (OEM) New front struts (Bilstein) New windshield and battery New fuel filter and air filter (washable) New A/C condenser and pressure switch with fresh recharge New transmission mounts, ball joints and front swaybar bushings New rear hatch motor New radiator fan assembly Fuel injector cleaning (removed and cleaned) Transmission service Coolant flush oil and filter change (synthetic) 4 wheel alignment Interior 9.5/10: Normal wear, very nice! Exterior 7.5/10: Body has some hail damage from a storm back in 2016, a small dent on the rear hatch and various other small imperfections. Modifications: -IE stage 2 power kit (intake manifold, CAI and tune) +48 hp -Car comes with 3 tunes (stock, stage 1 and stage 2) **currently running stage 1** -LED fog lights wired to Euro style switch (not original to car) -ECS dogbone insert -25mm spacer lift in rear -1 1/4 hitch -Full tint -Grille painted black Known Issues -Pendulum bushings need to be replaced (you can hear them rattle over sharp bumps). -Some rust on the rocker panels
