Selling my 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5L with approximately 227,705 miles and a clean title for $2,200 FIRM. The exterior looks great, as shown in the photos, and the vehicle has had some notable maintenance and replacement items completed over the recent years. Known cooling-system issue: The coolant-temperature warning light has come on intermittently, and the vehicle has had intermittent coolant loss and overflow. Two mechanics suspect a head-gasket problem. A shop’s written report also notes a water-pump leak and states that debris restricting radiator airflow was cleaned. I have not independently verified the mechanics’ findings, and the full extent of the needed repairs is unknown. I’m selling rather than having repairs completed. Best suited to a mechanic or experienced do-it-yourself buyer who can evaluate the vehicle and handle the work. Current running condition: It starts, runs and drives under its own power. It passed Colorado emissions on October 8, 2026, and I recently drove approximately 15 miles without overheating. It has never stranded me, but the cooling-system concern remains unresolved. The seats have some staining that may improve with a proper upholstery cleaning. Front passenger door lock mechanism must be engaged manually. Please review the photos and come take a look. Maintenance and replacement history: Listed mileages are the vehicle’s odometer readings when the work was performed. • Tires installed at 215,832 miles, approximately 11,900 miles ago. • A/C compressor, valve core, and cap kit installed at 216,445 miles. • Windshield replaced at approximately 214,000 miles. • Rear differential fluid replaced at 221,228 miles. Air filters have also been replaced. • Used transmission installed at 172,031 miles. The replacement transmission’s mileage before installation is not documented. • Water pump, thermostat, and serpentine belt replaced at 172,031 miles. Asking $2,200 Firm.
