We bought it new in 2011 and it was garaged its entire life. This car was never driven to ski areas in the winter and never used as a daily commuter for school or work. It is in excellent condition and the interior is immaculate. It has thorough up to date service history and records. Read the Scheduled Maintenance Status – scroll past the list of features. The car was maintained regularly by the local Subaru dealer and then later by Super Rupair in Boulder. Latest oil change, new filter and lube was at 58,143 miles. Tires have 17,100 miles on them: New Michelin Premier A/S M&S (mud & snow) tires were installed in 2017 at 41,452 miles. They have a 99H load index (1,709 pounds capacity each) and speed rating (130 mph). After COSTCO installed the new tires, we had the Subaru dealer perform a 4 wheel alignment at 42,000 miles. Tires have been rotated twice. Last rotation at 57,400 miles. New Battery in 2021: Larger size (Group 24) battery was installed. It has more cold cranking amps (CCA) than the original factory battery. Engine Air Filter: Last replaced at 58,150 miles. There were three other engine air filter replacements prior to that. Transmission Fluid: Initial transmission fluid change was done at 30,800 miles. Brakes: Front brake pads replaced at 29,140 miles. Latest brake fluid flush/change performed at 46,000 miles. New Spark Plugs and Valve/Cam Cover Gaskets: Maintenance schedule requires new spark plugs at 60,000 miles. Car was close enough at 58,530 miles so had the spark plugs replaced and while the mechanic was there, had the cam cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals replaced as well. Timing Belt: The timing belt is required to be changed at 100,000 miles or 10 years. The timing belt was just recently changed in August 2026 at 58,530 miles. In addition to the belt, the timing belt idlers and tensioner were changed as well. Does not have to be changed again for 100,000 miles from now.
