** This listing is on hold for the time being, until we get the title in our hand. ** For sale 2011 Toyota RAV4. It is in fair condition. The OBD2 codes are throwing a P0016 and a P0017 (Crankshaft position sensor) and our local mechanic said it is possible that it needs a new timing chain. It was a daily driver up until it threw the OBD2 codes, so we decided to park it. It could be just sensors that need cleaning or replaced. Or it could need a new timing chain. Our mechanic did try retarding the timing to see if that would clear the codes, but it did not work. It starts and runs just fine, but we were advised to get it repaired soon. We have decided that it is time for this vehicle to move on. The rear door also has been bumped into, and it hard to close. The interior has some missing plastic here and there too. The good news is, the tires are relatively new, the sound system is the Toyota Premium JBL, and it has an aftermarket Apple Car play head unit. This would be a perfect car for someone that would like to wrench on it, use it for a project or parts. And if you did clear the P0016 and P0017 codes, it would be a daily driver easily. We cannot find the title but it is in our house somewhere, but I have submitted my TR-720b title replacement with the state of Kansas, so hopefully we will get a fresh one here within the next week. I just wanted to get this posted now in case there was some interest on it and to field any questions while I wait for this title. Feel free to send me a message.
