2012 Chevrolet Traverse 1LT for sale in Denver, CO
Listed at $3,500 USD.
Need a roomy, comfortable SUV that's ready for your next road trip? This 2012 Chevy Traverse came through for us exactly when we needed it. We bought it after our previous vehicle unexpectedly broke down and died in Maryland, because we needed something reliable to get us back home. It was sitting at the mechanic awaiting official state inspection, so it was ready to go. It didn't disappoint. It drove us safely across the country without issue, carried everything we owned, and even gave us enough room to comfortably sleep inside during our travels. I've been driving it around for a week or two since and it feels great. It's quite luxurious. Now that we're back, I'm simply looking to downsize to something smaller, as I usually travel solo. Otherwise, we'd happily keep it. It's a great car. AC/Heat works; allows separate controls in front and back Seats fold down to create an impressively large sleeping/storage area. Backup Cam Seats 7-8 Towing capacity up to 5,200 lbs when properly equipped Comfortable highway cruiser with smooth handling. Includes Sirius XM, AUX, CD. Speakers sound good. A fantastic value for someone looking for a capable SUV without spending a fortune. Disclosures: 1) I was told the vehicle's main issue is most likely a torque converter that isn't working properly, which is a known issue on some of these Traverses. Because of this, it's best driven in Manual Mode in 5th. This does not require any manual shifting or a clutch—it's simply selecting Manual Mode and leaving it there during normal driving. I'll gladly show you exactly how it works; it takes less than a minute to explain and has served us well. I have tried driving it in regular drive, and it does seem smooth to me. That was just what the previous owner recommended. 2) Front Passenger window does not operate from driver's side. 3)Rear passenger side little parking light shield cracked If you're looking for an affordable SUV with plenty of life left for adventures, daily driving, camping, or family use, this Traverse deserves a look. $3500 or best offer.
