2012 Volvo C30 T5 R-Design Platinum 2dr Hatchback Manual for sale in Pittsburgh, PA
Listed at $3,500 USD.
For sale is my Cosmic Metallic White 2012 Volvo C30. I will get the bad out of the way now to explain the price - it needs a head gasket. Hoping it will go to a home where someone wants to do the job and keep this cool car on the road. The car currently does run and drive (although you shouldn't drive it far) because the gasket issue is a small break between the oiling and cooling, leading to coolant burn-off on cold starts and an inability to hold coolant long term, obviously. It is a pretty interesting spec with the 6 speed manual transmission, Bluetooth audio, functioning BLIS system, rain sensing wipers, and Bi-Xenon headlights. It also has an Elevate air intake installed (sounds great!) but will come with the stock air box and associated hardware. Recent work / new parts include: New brake rotors / pads on all 4 corners New radiator + hoses New Thermostat + Housing New Ignition Coils / Plugs New Xenon bulbs This car is a lot of fun and I'm fairly sad that I don't have room at the house to let it sit while I do more work on it. I have priced it in such a way that if you were to pay a professional to complete the head gasket replacement it would still be a pretty good deal for such a fun rare car. All the better if you've got mechanical skills and want to tackle it yourself. Other than the obvious issue of the gasket, the car definitely wants suspension work and a clean set of tires.
