Selling my Q7 exactly as it sits, complete and as-is, due to catastrophic internal engine failure. It will need an engine replacement/rebuild and must be towed. This is a very clean, well-equipped Prestige Plus with approximately 96,800 miles. Prior to the engine failure it ran and drove extremely well for 1200 miles, then without warning, the the engine siezed out of nowhere. It did not overheat and there were no warning lights prior to the incident. Before I purchased it, I scanned it with VCDS after I test drove it. The previous owner had a car fax and it was smogged all seemed excellent. I have put substantial recent maintenance and improvements into the vehicle, including $500 in Zimmerman front brakes, a brand-new AAA battery, ceramic window tint on the windshield and front windows, Mobil 1 oil/filter service, power-steering and brake-fluid service, new wipers, cabin filter, hatch struts, headlight restoration and more. The engine failure is not an unknown diagnosis. I have documented it extensively with VCDS, photographs, video and borescope inspection of all six cylinders. Catastrophic internal damage is concentrated in Bank 2 Cylinder 2, with piston/cylinder damage and a bent valve. The engine is seized and remains assembled; it has not been dismantled. The rest of the vehicle remains complete, including transmission, Quattro drivetrain, electronics, interior and all installed equipment. I have maintenance records and extensive diagnostic documentation available for a serious buyer.
