Selling my 2-14 Toyota Prius with 239,000 miles. I'm a retired Toyota technician and have worked on the vehicle myself. Highlights: + New 12-volt battery(not the hybrid battery) + New Tires + Roof Rack Included + Recently replaced windshield, but it has a crack + Excellent fuel economy + Practical and economical transportation + If it needs a straightforward repair that is mainly labor-related, such as brake pads, I may replace the parts before the sale at no labor cost to the buyer, as agreed upon in advance + Maintenance history: Much of the routine maintenance and repair work was performed by me personally. I'm a retired Toyota technician, so there may be limited shop or dealer service records for work I completed myself. I'll be happy to discuss the vehicles maintenance and repairs with serious buyers to the best of my knowledge. Known Issue: The car needs a brake booster assembly replacement. The Prius uses an electronically controlled, partially regenerative braking system, and this repair requires proper diagnostic procedures, bleeding equipment, and Toyota-specific or equivalent scan-tool capabilities. Because of that, I am not presenting this as a simple repair for a typical do-it-yourself buyer. It would be more appropriate for a qualified Toyota/Prius technician, a professional repair shop, or a buyer who understands the system and repair requirements. Test drives / delivery: Because the brake booster needs to be replaced, I'm not comfortable having prospective buyers drive the vehicle until the repair is completed. I'm happy to deliver the car locally or, if you come to see it, allow you to ride along while I drive it so you can see and hear how it runs. This is simply due to the brake issue and my concerns about safety, liability, and insurance coverage. Cosmetic Condition: The car has normal wear for its age and mileage, including scratches and small dings from everyday use and parking lots. Please see the photos.
